2. Surfing Services and Activities
AussieSurf Pro provides professional surfing instruction, equipment rental, and guided surfing experiences. All participants must acknowledge the inherent risks associated with water sports and ocean activities.
Our services include beginner lessons at Gold Coast, intermediate coaching at Byron Bay, advanced training at Margaret River, equipment rental, safety instruction, and eco-friendly surfing education. All activities are conducted by certified instructors with appropriate safety measures.
3. Age Requirements and Supervision
Participants under 18 years of age must have written parental consent and may require direct supervision during activities. Adult supervision ratios are maintained according to Australian water safety standards.
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the booking process and initial safety briefing. We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who do not meet our safety requirements.
4. Health and Safety Requirements
Participants must disclose any medical conditions, physical limitations, or medications that might affect their ability to safely participate in surfing activities. We require basic swimming competency for all participants.
You must follow all safety instructions provided by our certified instructors. Failure to comply with safety guidelines may result in immediate termination of services without refund. We provide all necessary safety equipment including wetsuits, helmets where required, and emergency communication devices.
5. Booking and Payment Terms
Bookings require advance payment and are subject to weather conditions and instructor availability. Cancellations made 24 hours before scheduled activities receive full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before may incur fees.
Weather-related cancellations initiated by AussieSurf Pro result in full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. Group bookings may be subject to different terms and conditions.
6. Equipment Use and Responsibility
All equipment provided by AussieSurf Pro remains our property and must be used responsibly. Participants are liable for damage or loss of equipment due to negligence or misuse beyond normal wear and tear.
Equipment inspection occurs before and after each use. Any pre-existing damage will be noted. Replacement costs for lost or severely damaged equipment will be charged according to our current equipment value schedule.
7. Liability and Risk Acknowledgment
Surfing and ocean activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to drowning, injury from waves, marine life encounters, and equipment-related incidents. Participants acknowledge these risks and participate at their own discretion.
AussieSurf Pro maintains comprehensive insurance coverage and follows industry safety standards. However, participants are strongly encouraged to maintain personal health and travel insurance coverage for additional protection.
8. Environmental Responsibility
As part of our eco-friendly approach, participants must respect marine environments, follow Leave No Trace principles, and participate in our ocean conservation education components. Littering or harmful environmental practices result in immediate service termination.
We promote sustainable surfing practices and expect all participants to contribute to ocean preservation efforts during their experience with us. This includes proper disposal of materials and respect for marine wildlife.
9. Photography and Media
AussieSurf Pro may photograph or film activities for promotional purposes. Participation constitutes consent for use of your likeness in marketing materials unless explicitly opted out in writing prior to service commencement.
Professional photography services may be available for purchase. All media captured during lessons remains property of AussieSurf Pro unless alternative arrangements are made and documented in writing.
10. Modification of Terms
AussieSurf Pro reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with effective dates clearly indicated. Continued use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of new terms.
Significant changes to terms affecting safety, liability, or service delivery will be communicated directly to existing customers via email where contact information is available.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Australian law and the laws of the state where services are provided. Any disputes will be resolved through appropriate Australian legal channels with jurisdiction in the location where services were contracted.
